Currently live with my friend, 15-year-old daughter and 11 rats--including a hairless (Pedro), Himalayan (Biter), and American Blue (Carlos). We were blessed to have a litter of 13 last January 21st, so we are about to celebrate their 1st birthday. The father (Lewis) passed away suddenly in September but the mother (Ella) is still with us as are 6 of the babies (Lewis Jr., Darwin, Toby, Darla, Buffy, and Cordy). My friend spent a lot of time with Lewis on weekends while I was at work. He would follow her around the kitchen--as loyal as a dog. She could not bear to never see him again so she decided to have him freeze-dried (which is more life-like than having him stuffed). It is costing $500 but she just wants to have him forever.
When I am not playing with our rats, I am working full-time at a local hospital in the housekeeping department. I love to read, journal, do yoga and gymnastics, and go clothes shopping at the mall with my 2 daughters.
